Kiran Modak, CEO

Mr. Modak is a a strong team leader and producer with over 10 years of experience in fast paced organizations, with excellent technical, marketing and sales skills, project management expertise and entrepreneurial savvy. Extensive business development and negotiating experience that has led to securing several critical key clients. Ability to create and lead outsourced web and product development teams in overseas locations that consistently delivered critical projects in a timely and cost effective manner. Excellent communication skills; ability to conceptualize and deliver a highly efficient message that resonates with customer needs and requirements. 

Experiences include VP of Strategic Development at Strix Systems, Founder and Creative Director at The Blue Mango and consulting assignments for Newbay Software at AT & T Wireless. Has worked with Fortune 500 clients both domestically as well as internationally. 

Kiran holds an MBA from the prestigious Peter F. Drucker School of Management and degrees in computer science and cost accounting from the University of Pune, India.

Tom Mooreland, EVP Worldwide Sales

At Apptango, Mr. Mooreland will focus on building a strong sales driven organization. His previous experiences include, VP of Worldwide sales at Strix Systems. Prior to joining Strix, Mr. Mooreland served as founder, owner and COO, of a privately held VAR headquartered in Southern California. The company acted as a sales engine for key partners and generated nearly 100 million in revenues, with a focus on LAN/WAN, voice/data convergence and wireless solutions for the enterprise and small medium business markets. Mr. Moorelend worked as National Account Manager for UB Networks and as a regional sales executive for AT&T. Mr. Mooreland has a BS in marketing from San Diego State University.

Santosh Khare, CTO

Mr. Khare is responsible for developing and leading the technology team at Apptango. Santosh is also overseeing the global delivery processes, research and development, technology consultancy, technology vision and technology partner engagement. Mr. Khare’s 18 years of high-tech industry experience are a strong asset to his job developing a strong technology team at Apptango. Before co-founding Apptango, Santosh founded GOLS Inc in 2005, a Web and mobile application development firm. Previously, he was Senior Program Manager at Microsoft’s Windows Mobile Division, in charge of delivering networking layer for Windows Mobile 5.X and 6.X. In his career, Santosh Also served Mobile giants AT&T Wireless and Alltell communications. Prior to this, in his consulting career Santosh had served Cap Gemini America, Intel Corporation and First Data Resources. Santosh holds an MBA from University of Washington and Masters degree in Computer Science.

Justin Richardson, Director Business Development

Mr. Richardson is devoted to the future of Apptango; heading Business Development, he creates unique business opportunities in many different fields for Apptango which include Green Energy, Municipality 2.0 development, Real Estate and Education to list a few. Having attended college overseas with focus in International Business, his network is extensive and extremely influential covering ground from Asia, Middle East, Eastern and Western Europe. Prior to co-founding Apptango, Mr. Richardson was the Director of Business Development and Marketing with Electri-City Inc. Extensive business development and negotiating experience that has led to securing several critical key clients.
